Deaf Communication Service - Fife

The Deaf Communication Service offers a wide range of advice, support, and equipment for individuals with hearing loss, including those who are Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, and Deaf BSL users. Our services extend to carers, families, and professionals, providing essential information and support related to deafness. This includes conducting workplace assessments for employees with hearing loss.

We offer expert advice and provide appropriate communication support for appointments, such as BSL interpreters, electronic note-takers, hands-on (tactile) interpreters, and lip-speakers.

Our training sessions include:
• Signature British Sign Language Level 1 and Level 2 courses
• British Sign Language taster sessions
• British Sign Language Cultural Awareness sessions
• Deaf Awareness sessions
